Colson Kelly or Machine Gun Kelly is best recognized for his unique style of rap he employs. Baker was born April 22 1991 in Houston Texas U.S. into an extended family that was of English Scottish and German descent. His parents, two missionaries at the time, took him to numerous trips throughout his childhood years. James Colson Baker, his father, suffered depression as well as unemployment. The mother of his son Sonia Alane had left him when he turned nine. Baker moved to Denver along with his father, and stayed there for a while. Baker had to endure bullying from fellow kids because of his poverty. He began listening to rap when he was in sixth grade. Colson Kelly was born as Machine Gun Kelly on April 22, 1989, in Texas. He has a reputation for blending hip-hop styles that are contemporary and alternative to rock in his music compositions. Baker was signed to Bad Boy Records in 2010, released four mixes between 2007 and 2010. The Cleveland artist, who can deliver the lyrics with as much speed as a bullet-train, experienced a meteoric climb in late 2011 when he switched from self-releasing mixtapes and signing with reputable labels. It was from there, with all of his records making the top 10 charts.
