American actor Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge. Her career began with supporting roles in the teenage comedy films Big Fat Liar (2002) and She's the Man (2006). She later played reporter Willa McPherson on the FX series Dirt and also played a minor role in the short-lived drama The Ex List. In the first season, she starred in the role of Moira O'Hara in the role of a young Moira and in the following season, she played Kaylee. She portrayed Jessie Anderson in the AMC series The Walking Dead and Sophie in the NBC series This Is Us. She has voiced various characters in the show Family Guy, an animated comedy. Since the year 2019, she has appeared as Melinda "Mel" Monroe in the Netflix series Virgin River. Breckenridge grew up in Darien, Connecticut until she was 10 years old when her mother and she moved to California [1and a half years ago] where they lived for a year before finally moving to Mill Valley. Breckenridge was 13 when she first began to pursue an interest in acting, photography and singing. Breckenridge moved back to Los Angeles with the help of her mother , who was 15.
